PSG wages: How much does each player earn?
Paris Saint-Germain are one of the richest clubs in world football and their transfer spending has been matched by exorbitant salaries since the Qatari takeover of the club in 2011.
The summer of 2021 was one of the craziest transfer windows in recent memory, with Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Georginio Wijnaldum all arriving on free transfers.
As a result of the club not paying a transfer fee, those Bosman arrivals were rewarded with massive salaries, adding to an already bloated wage bill with the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar already on the books.

The club's wage bill grew even further when Mbappe signed a new deal in 2022, which included a €50 million signing-on fee with nearly €100m earned per year until 2025.
PSG's wage bill for the 2021/22 season was reportedly the highest ever in football history at a huge €728m. However, the departures of both Messi and Neymar in 2023 have eased their wage bill significantly.
