“Neymar is on course to leave Paris Saint Germain this summer. And he could very well be turning up in the Premier League,” Bailey said. “Whilst officially PSG are not saying much, and he is contracted to them until 2025, sources are confirming that they are ready to sanction his exit.

“And it is true that Neymar’s possible availability has been spread around Europe.

"All of the Premier League’s top clubs are being informed. That includes Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Newcastle. They have all been informed of his possible availability.

He continued: “One of the main reasons for Neymar’s position being put forward by intermediaries was their belief that they needed to confirm that a move to England was very much something he is keen to do.”

End of the Messi-Neymar-Mbappe contingent?

It comes after reports that there is a sense that Neymar could depart Paris as the club are growing increasingly tired of the attacker on the forward line with Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

French outlet Le Parisien reports that their lack of volume of defensive work is causing the club issues - even though the trio are getting goals and assists.

It states that though they wish to keep hold of Mbappe, the future looks less unclear for Neymar and Messi, the latter of which is currently locked in talks with PSG over fresh terms, his current deal up in June.
