Mbappe brutally threatened by Ligue 1 rival: An ambulance will have to pick him up
RC Lens defenders are ready to pull out all the stops in order to pip Paris Saint-Germain to the Ligue 1 title.
Lens have been the surprise package of this Ligue 1 season, currently sitting pretty in second, two points ahead of Marseille and five ahead of Monaco. More importantly, Lens are only six points off PSG at the top of the table. With eight games to play in this Ligue 1 season, they are still in with a credible shout to mount a serious title challenge.
In fact, the Blood and Gold face PSG at the weekend and although their chances of victory are slim, they will go into the game full of confidence seeing as though the Parisians have only won once in their last four Ligue 1 outings. To increase the prospects of success, Lens defender Facundo Medina has been playing mind games in the media.

What did Medina say?
Speaking to El Grafico, the Argentine centre-back, who has previously been linked with Manchester United, joked about going up against Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
"It's more difficult for me to mark Lionel Messi for fear of hurting him," the 23-year-old said of his World Cup-winning compatriot. "So if Messi escapes, I'll grab him by the shirt, and kiss him, asking him to give me a hug."
However, not every PSG player would get this kind of friendly treatment, he asserted. "The other [Kylian Mbappé] is also difficult to mark, but you know me. If it's Mbappé, an ambulance will have to come and get him," the Lens defender chuckled.

Medina scored his second goal of the season - an impressive low-driven volley from the edge of the box - against Strasbourg on Friday, helping his side to another crucial victory that kept their unlikely title challenge alive.
