PSG are one of the few clubs in world football who could afford such a sum, the French capital club having previously dropped a world record €222m on Neymar in 2017, but Osimhen's acquisition could have another value for them.
A double win for PSG
Kylian Mbappe has been vocal about his frustration in playing at the point of Paris' attack this season, with Neymar and Lionel Messi occupying the deeper and wider positions Mbappe prefers in behind him.
Osimhen up front would likely keep Mbappe happy on the left wing or playing off the Nigerian, helping stave off Real Madrid's ongoing interest in their star player.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has previously stated he could consider Osimhen's sale for the right price.
"I'm very good at making contracts, so when [interested] come to me, they are blocked, so keeping [players] here won't be difficult," he said. "However, never say never. Sometimes there are offers you can't refuse, so you never know."
