Neymar apologises for CHEATING on PREGNANT girlfriend

PSG attacker Neymar finds himself in the spotlight again for an unwanted reason, with the Brazil forward forced to take to Instagram to apologise for cheating on his pregnant girlfiend.

Neymar and Bruna Biancardi announced that they are expecting on an Instagram post in April, but since then the 31-year-old has experienced difficulties both on and off the field.

With PSG, he was forced to watch the final months of the season because of an ankle injury, with his persistent physical problems leading the Ligue 1 champions to seek a summer transfer for the former Barcelona player.

Neymar’s apology to Bruno Biancardi

Away from the pitch, meanwhile, Neymar has admitted that he has cheated on Biancardi and took to Instagram to issue a heartfelt statement.

“I made a mistake. I made a mistake with you,” he said.

“I dare say that I make mistakes every day, on and off the pitch. But I work through my mistakes in my personal life at home, in my relationships with family and friends…

“All of this reached one of the most special people in my life. The woman I dreamed of following by my side, the mother of my child. It hit your family, which today is my family. It reached its intimacy in such a special moment that is motherhood.

“Bruna, I have already apologised for my mistakes, for the unnecessary rumours, but I feel compelled to reaffirm it publicly. If a private matter has gone public, the apology should be made public. I can't imagine myself without you.

“I don't know if it will work between us, but TODAY you can be sure that I want to try.

“Our desire will prevail, our love for our baby will win, our love for each other will strengthen us.”

Neymar, meanwhile, has been linked with a transfer to the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle, while there has also been speculation he could move to the Saudi Pro League, though nothing appears advanced.
