CONFIRMED: Mbappe REJECTS €700m Saudi Arabia talks after PSG accept €300m bid
Kylian Mbappe has REJECTED the chance to make a world record move to Saudi Arabia after refusing to hold talks with Al-Hilal despite Paris Saint-Germain accepting their €300 million offer for the forward.
Mbappe is entering the final year of his contract with PSG but has informed the club that he has no intention to renew, with the expectation that he will sign for Real Madrid on a free transfer next summer.
The decision has infuriated PSG’s Qatari owners, who have prevented him from joining the club’s pre-season tour of Japan, with the intention to sell him this summer to get a return on the player they spent €180m on in 2018.

However, with Real having reportedly agreed for Mbappe to sign next year, the Spanish side have no interest in making an offer, while the Frenchman has also insisted he will see out his contract with PSG.
The stalemate prompted Al-Hilal to make their move by offering PSG a world record fee for Mbappe, a bid that was accepted, but L’Equipe report that the 24-year-old has refused to meet with the Saudi side and has never considered the option of moving to the Pro League.
Mbappe was reportedly offered a base salary of €200m but that could rise as high as €700m, with Al-Hilal also willing to allow him to join Real Madrid next summer, but the player has now risked further fury from PSG by rejecting a move.
Mbappe refusing to leave PSG despite interest
PSG are still determined to sell Mbappe this summer despite his insistence that he will see out his contract with the club, with five teams reported to be interested in signing the French captain.
Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham, Inter and Barcelona are five teams reportedly interested in Mbappe but no side is believed to be able to match PSG’s valuation, which is expected to be in excess of €100m.
REACTION: Usain Bolt comments on Mbappe transfer
The French side are convinced Mbappe has already secretly agreed to join Real Madrid next summer, hence why he has not entertained transfer talks.
Mbappe is already the highest paid athlete in the world after rejecting Real to extend his contract with PSG last summer but he has now turned down the chance to almost 10x his salary.
