Mbappe’s NEW PSG contract looks good for Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe has performed a remarkable U-turn to become reintegrated into the PSG squad of Luis Enrique.
Mbappe was back training with the team on Sunday following a scoreless draw against Lorient on the opening day of the Ligue 1 season that he sat out following a dispute with the club that had rumbled for two months and seemed destined to end with him leaving for Real Madrid.
It may well be that Mbappe departs for the Bernabeu next summer, but PSG are optimistic that the player will sign a new contract with the club that will force Los Blancos to pay a transfer fee for him.

Foot Mercato has reported that Mbappe and PSG are in contract talks that would offer the player a one-year extension, taking his contract through until 2025.
There will be no clause inserted into this deal allowing Mbappe to depart for Real Madrid next summer – but that’s only because French law does not allow clubs to put such stipulations into employment contracts.

Instead, a private agreement will be made between Mbappe and the club that will allow the striker to depart next summer to a destination of his choosing.
This, of course, is likely to be Real Madrid, who have yet to replace Karim Benzema at the forefront of their attack.
PSG’s dream scenario
For PSG, having Mbappe back in the first team is the ideal scenario, particularly after losing Lionel Messi to Inter Miami, while Neymar appears to be on the cusp of a move to Al-Hilal that is worth between €90-100m.
The team could, therefore, be built solely around Mbappe for the season to come, despite the club having totally renovated their attacking options by signing Ousmane Dembele, Goncalo Ramos, Marco Asensio and, potentially, Randal Kolo-Muani.
Despite these arrivals, PSG were pitifully impotent at the weekend, completing more than 1000 passes against Lorient but rarely able to cut open their opponents. The return of Mbappe is, therefore, most welcome.
