Neymar makes feelings on Mbappe CLEAR after Saudi transfer
The latest chapter in the Kylian Mbappe and Neymar feud is perhaps the pettiest one yet.
Rumours that former Paris Saint-Germain teammates Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are not particularly fond of each other have been making the rounds for a while. Indeed, Mbappe reportedly requested that the Brazilian already be sold last summer as he felt that he would be better suited to playing in Neymar's left-wing role.
This summer, the Frenchman finally got his wish. Neymar has departed for Al-Hilal - ironically the same club Mbappe had rejected a few weeks earlier - in a deal that could see PSG bank as much as €100 million, while the 31-year-old will become the joint-third highest-paid player in the world.

Mbappe not invited
Now, French media claims that Neymar organised a farewell party to say goodbye to his friends in Paris but did not invite Mbappe. PSG captain Marquinhos, meanwhile, stood out amongst the crowd.
One thing is clear, Mbappe will certainly be happy that the Brazilian is gone. Indeed, it is no coincidence that his return from his PSG banishment coincided with the French giants' decision to offload their record signing.

This petty saga is clear evidence that you can have all the money in the world, but that doesn't guarantee that your team will be a functional, cohesive unit. This PSG had to find out the hard way and it, as well as the Mbappe contract dispute, influenced their decision to focus their squad building more on discipline rather than flashy big names.
Or as Nasser Al-Khelaifi has been keen to hammer home: "Nobody is bigger than the club."
