It seems there is no end to the transfer drama at the French champions this summer, with their two biggest stars potentially effectively exiling themselves from the first team on the eve of the new season.

PSG are convinced that Kylian Mbappe has a deal in place to join Real Madrid next summer and have made him train with the so-called ‘undesirables’ – a group of players not seen as part of the first-team picture, including Julian Draxler and Leandro Paredes.

According to L’Equipe, Neymar has made it clear that he wants to move on – having just entered the final two years of his contract at the Parc des Princes.

The 31-year-old Brazilian became the most expensive player of all time when he joined PSG from Barcelona in 2017 for €222m – which still stands as the world transfer record.

And recent reports have suggested that Barca could bring him back to Catalonia – despite their financial difficulties.

Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea have already been linked with Neymar this summer – while there has also been the inevitable talk of a switch to the Saudi Pro League.

The latest development comes a matter of months after PSG ultras gathered outside the forward’s house demanding his departure.

Neymar has scored 118 goals in 173 appearances for Les Parisiens, helping them to five Ligue 1 titles in the past six seasons – but frequent injuries have meant he has only once featured more than 30 times in a single campaign.
