Ethan Mbappe rejects Real Madrid as Kylian's brother eyed by Champions League rival
Kylian Mbappe’s brother Ethan will not be following his older sibling from PSG to Real Madrid this summer, according to a report.
Kylian is expected to be announced as a Real Madrid player following the Champions League final on 1 June, having already declared that he will depart from PSG at the end of his contract in June.
There had been an expectation that younger brother Ethan, who has appeared for the Ligue 1 champions on a handful of occasions, might join him in Spain, but it now appears that this will not be the case.

When leaving training on Monday, Mbappe’s car stopped outside the ground and he was asked by fans: “Are you going to Real Madrid like your brother?”
The response was a simple: “No.”
Nevertheless, the 17-year-old is in line to join a club heading for the Champions League next season.

According to a report from FootMercato, the teenaged Mbappe has become a target for Lille, who will enter the Champions League in the preliminary rounds after finishing fourth in Ligue 1.
“The northern club is doing everything possible to seduce the midfielder, who seems to have the potential to flourish in Ligue 1. By attracting a Mbappe, LOSC would also achieve a big coup on the media level,” FootMercato stated.
Ethan’s contract at PSG also expires in June, like Kylian’s, and it is reported that discussions over an extension were halted when it was announced his brother would leave in February. As such, his future is out of the hands of the Ligue 1 outfit.
“Faced with the uncertainty surrounding his future, PSG has for the moment no control in this matter, which is made more complex by the complicated end of Kylian Mbappe's adventure at Parc des Princes. Ethan Mbappe no longer links his destiny to that of his big brother but intends to pursue his career as he sees fit.”
