Mbappe chases €55m in UNPAID WAGES as PSG risk Champions League ban
Kylian Mbappe’s legal team have reportedly contacted UEFA as the Frenchman chases €55 million in unpaid wages from Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe, 25, left the Ligue 1 giants to join Real Madrid on a free transfer earlier this summer, and he believes he is owed a significant sum of money by his former employers.
According to French outlet Le Monde, Mbappe’s lawyers have contacted both the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) and UEFA - European football’s governing body - in order to help resolve the matter.

As per the report, Mbappe claims he is yet to receive the last payment of a €36 million signing-on bonus, the final three months of his PSG salary and an ‘ethics bonus’ for the period of April-June 2024.
Although there has been no update on whether PSG will decide to pay Mbappe, the consequences could be severe for Luis Enrique’s side.
The LFP reportedly has the ability to sanction a transfer ban on the Parisians, while UEFA are able to withdraw PSG’s club licence, meaning they could potentially be banned from taking part in this season’s Champions League if the matter isn’t resolved soon.
