‘LIAR!’ – Mbappe clan steps up PSG war as exit nears
Kylian Mbappe’s departure from PSG looks closer than ever, with the war between the superstar attacker and the club stepping up in intensity.
Mbappe’s contract is up in 2024, with the 24-year-old France star having decided that he will not take up the option to extend until 2025.
Consequently, PSG want to sell him this summer, going public on their desire to shift the player for a fee rather than face losing him as a free agent in 12 months.

Speaking at the presentation of head coach Luis Enrique, president Nasser Al-Khelaifi explained: “If Kylian wants to stay, we want him to stay. But he needs to sign a new contract. We don't want to let the best player in the world go for free. It's impossible.”
These comments have further ignited the feud between PSG and Mbappe, who is presently on holiday in Cameroon ahead of returning to PSG pre-season training, which begins on 20 July.

Mbappe’s mum slams Al-Khelaifi as war escalates
According to Jeune Afrique, Fayza Lamari, Mbappe’s mother and agent, has branded Al-Khelaifi “a big liar” in response to his statement.
Meanwhile, L’Equipe reports on Friday that Mbappe is becoming increasingly hostile to his employers.
“The break is near,” the French paper reports. “Mbappe understands this well. And if this attitude encourages him even less to extend his contract, it does not call into question his desire to stay at PSG for the next season, which he already indicated during the last gathering with the French team.”
Mbappe is aware that Real Madrid cannot afford to sign him at the present time.
“Staying in Paris is my only option at the moment,” he said in June.
Although FootballTransfers has exclusively revealed that Arsenal will weigh up a move for Mbappe should he become a free agent next summer, it is indicated that Los Blancos are the only club he wishes to join.
