Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has done very little to distance his club from the possibility of resigning Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba

The 27-year old has continued to receive criticism from United fans and former coaches after another poor spell of form that has seen Pogba pick up just one goal and two assists for the Premier League club in his first 10 games of the season.

Yet the towering midfielder’s former club may be about to offer him a lifeline and a swift exit from his troubles in Manchester.

  • When asked by the media about the possibility of bringing Pogba back to the club, Paratici talked up the chances of the Serie A giants making an offer in the near future.

In quotes carried by the Mirror, he said: “Paul Pogba as our target? In this moment he’s a Man Utd player, it’s difficult to think about transfers.

“We love Pogba, he’s a fantastic player but it’s too early to talk about our targets for the future.”

Pogba left Juventus to join the Old Trafford side in 2016 for a reported fee of €105 million, just four years after leaving the English club as an unused youth product. Yet it seems as though he could be about to once again make the move to Italy in search of some good fortune.
