Ronaldo posted a picture of himself next to his Rolls Royce along with the caption ‘Decision day’.

Tuttomercatoweb further reports that Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes is set to meet Juventus’ directors on Sunday to discuss the ex-Real Madrid star’s future.

Football Transfers understands that both Ronaldo and Juventus are open to a transfer this summer.

HOW MUCH IS CRISTIANO RONALDO'S PRICE TAG?

Will Ronaldo stay at Juventus?

The 36-year-old was unhappy with the Bianconeri’s performances last season as the club only just sneaked into the top four on the final day, while they were eliminated from the Champions League in the last 16.

Given his age, Ronaldo wants to ensure he spends the last year or two of his peak with a club that can fight for elite titles.

As for Juve, they would be happy to sell Ronaldo in order to lower their wage bill.

Cristiano costs the club in the region of €60 million-a-year in gross wages.

If they could find a buyer for Ronaldo then this would allow them to make more moves on the transfer market.

Currently, they are hamstrung and struggling to even finance the one significant investment they are expected to make this summer; Manuel Locatelli from Sassuolo.

Manchester United, Real Madrid and PSG were the three main clubs linked with making a move for Ronaldo this summer.

However, all three parties made it clear that they will struggle to match Ronaldo’s current salary.

As a result, Ronaldo is short on suitors and finding him a new club for the 2021-22 season will be very difficult.

Gazzetta reported earlier this week that Mendes is pushing for Juve to extend the attacker’s contract by an extra year, although the Italian giants are not willing to open negotiations right now.

Ronaldo is expected to begin pre-season with Juventus on July 25 as he joins the squad later than those who didn’t play at Euro 2020.

Cristiano was top-scorer at the Euros with five goals, despite Portugal being eliminated in the last 16 by Belgium.

The veteran was also Serie A top-scorer last season as he bagged 29 goals for Juventus, five more than the next best marksman in Romelu Lukaku of Inter.

Ronaldo has scored 101 goals in 133 games since joining Juventus from Real Madrid in 2018, winning two Scudetti, one Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cups.
