Manchester United should look at England striker Tammy Abraham after missing out on Darwin Nunez to Liverpool.
Abraham finished off a remarkable debut season with Roma by scoring a double against Torino prior to the international break.
Indeed, he grabbed his 16th and 17th of the campaign to ensure Jose Mourinho’s side finished sixth in Serie A and, therefore, qualified for next season’s Europa League.

And, in doing so, the 24-year-old set the record for the most goals scored by an Englishman in the history of the competition.
Abraham easily justified the faith that Mourinho put in him when he was signed for €40 million from Chelsea last summer, having been made peripheral by Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge.
Abraham to Man Utd after Nunez fail?
Manchester United ended their pursuit of new Liverpool signing Darwin Nunez as they believed that his €100 million asking price was too much.
The Red Devils have been burned numerous times before when making big-money transfers and were scared of the same thing occurring with Nunez, who only broke through in the last year.
Paul Pogba was a high-profile €100m flop when he returned from Juventus in 2016, while Harry Maguire has struggled after becoming the most expensive defender in history from Leicester in 2019.
Last summer’s big-money signing, Jadon Sancho, also had a miserable first season at Old Trafford.

United want to make sure that when they make their next expensive transfer, they don’t get it wrong.
So, Erik ten Hag and the club’s hierarchy should look no further than former Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham.
The Englishman would arrive with Premier League experience, having scored 15 times in 25 starts at Chelsea in the 2019-20 season.
Where Nunez will need time to settle in England, which Liverpool can afford to give him, Ten Hag could get Abraham firing right away.
Not to mention that Abraham would cost significantly less than the Reds have paid for Urugayan.
