Chelsea join Real Madrid in race for Napoli star Kvaratskhelia

Napoli attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been impressive for his side this season, having done well since signing for them in the summer from Dinamo Batumi.
The Georgian has been one of the shining lights of the Serie A season as Napoli sit top and unbeaten with an exhilarating attacking line.
The 21-year-old’s excellent form has propelled them to this position and they are also doing well in Europe, winning all four of their group matches so far in the Champions League.

With that, other clubs are taking notice of his form and are lining up a possible move for him in the near future, and Chelsea are the latest club to enter the race for the explosive winger.

Chelsea have already lost a host of attacking players this season and could see more leave in the near future, with Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic possibly exiting Stamford Bridge in the near future.
Now, Italian outlet Napoli Magazine are saying Chelsea are set to join the race for Kvaratskhelia, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid already reportedly in the race for the player.

Chelsea need to add more attacking quality and given Napoli’s style of play, they feel Kvaratskhelia is the ideal man to have in their squad in the future.
Real Madrid are also keen on the player, given their own problems in attack, as Eden Hazard has struggled for fitness and Marco Asensio is set to leave the club in the near future.

Napoli are known to be tough negotiators and will likely demand a big fee for a young player with so much potential and so much to offer in the future.
So far this season, Kvaratskhelia has had 10 goal contributions and in the Champions League, he has had five, which only helps Napoli’s case as they will chase a massive transfer fee for the Georgian winger.
