Manchester United have renewed their interest in Denzel Dumfries, according to Calciomercato.

He has now returned to Dumfries, who was previously a target last season.

However, United were not prepared to pay this amount and the deal never happened.
Inter would certainly ask for at least this transfer fee - if not more - in 2024 as he is currently enjoying a brilliant season.
He has been the standout player in his position in Serie A, managing two goals and seven assists in all competitions for club and country.
Dumfries was one of the best right wing-backs at the recent 2022 World Cup, playing a key role in Holland’s journey to the quarter-finals where they only went out on penalties to Argentina.
The 26-year-old scored one goal and grabbed two assists and was a constant force up and down the right flank in Louis van Gaal’s team.
Dumfries is physically suited to the Premier League as he boasts strength, stamina, speed, aerial ability and has a goal threat.
Dumfries at Inter
Dumfries joined Inter from PSV in the summer of 2021 after a successful Euro 2020 and enjoyed an excellent first season at the club.
He scored five goals and provided six assists for the Nerazzurri as they won two trophies and finished second in Serie A.
Last term was more difficult for Dumfries, but he still played an important role as they reached the Champions League final. This season he has been back to his best.
Inter need to sacrifice at least one valuable player for financial reasons each summer.
For this reason, selling Dumfries cannot be ruled out next summer. However, a sale in January is almost impossible.
