Jose Mourinho offered €120m contract to leave Roma
Roma head coach Jose Mourinho could be in line for a new job in the summer, with reports indicating that the former Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United manager has been offered a package that could make him the highest paid coach ever.
According to Correire dello Sport, Mourinho has been offered a €120 million contract to take charge of the Saudi Arabia national football team over a two-year basis. The Italian source reports that Mourinho would earn €60m in each season.

The Portuguese and his entourage are said to be considering the offer, which would see him take charge of Saudi Arabia until 2025, although curiously would see him potentially stop the role prior to the 2026 World Cup, which takes place across North America.
According to L’Equipe, the highest paid manager in European football is currently Diego Simeone, who earns €40m per year at Atletico Madrid. What is on offer to Mourinho is clearly bigger than this and would offer the prospect of less work given the slower intensity of the international game.
