At the San Siro, Inter went two goals up in quick succession - Edin Dzeko opened the scoring with a well-taken strike, before Henrikh Mkhitaryan double their lead.

It was a terrible start from Milan, coming right after the news that Leao had signed fresh terms with the club.

It’s been reported that the attacker had made a verbal agreement on a new deal that’s valid until June 2028. While it’s thought the new contract that Leao has agreed with Milan will have a release clause set at €170m.
