Romelu Lukaku's future looks uncertain with Juventus hijacking Inter Milan's bid to re-sign the Chelsea man, while Saudi Arabian interest lurks…

Lukaku spent last season back on loan at Inter from Chelsea having fired the Nerazzurri to the Serie A title in 2021 before his €115 million transfer to Stamford Bridge.

After a difficult start in his second spell at San Siro, Lukaku scored 12 of his 13 goals after the turn of the year and Inter wanted to make his return permanent for €35m with €5m in add-ons.

But Juve have promised Lukaku's entourage that they will bid €37.5m plus €5m on the proviso that they are able to sell Dusan Vlahovic - most likely to Paris Saint-Germain - in order to fund a deal. And Lukaku has no intention of playing for anyone else.

Lukaku 'only wants Juve'

"Al-Hilal have once again tried to convince Romelu Lukaku, but were refused a third time," report Corriere dello Sport. "The Belgian only wants Juve, no flashback with Inter. It's up to [Juve] CEO [Maurizio] Scanavino to find an alternative way to take him to Turin immediately.

"Juve have offered a three-year contract worth €9m a season with an option for a fourth year. The Bianconeri jersey is the only one he has on his mind."

Lukaku's camp are worried that PSG's bid for Vlahovic falls through, and he wants to make the move to Juventus Stadium regardless.

He has no future at Chelsea. New manager Mauricio Pochettino had previously said he was hopeful of meeting the striker and sounding him out about his project, but the club want to cash in.

With Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku also signed from Villarreal and RB Leipzig, the Blues should be well stocked in the final third next season anyway.
