The SILLY money saved by offloading Paul Pogba
Paul Pogba was spotted in Saudi Arabia over the weekend. Juventus should bite the Saudi Pro League's hands off if a bid was to follow for their once star midfielder…
Pogba fuelled transfer rumours recently when asked about his trip, which was recorded on social media, saying "Who knows? Now, no. Today, no. Tomorrow, we don't know," when asked if he was about to join Al-Ittihad or Al-Ahli.
Pogba made his name at Juventus between 2012 and 2016 before returning to Manchester United in a then world record €105 million transfer. He then joined Juve for a second time - on a free - last summer.

But what was lauded as a hero's return soon went south, with Pogba's injury issues restricting him to just 10 games in all competitions last season, only one of which was a start.

Pogba's hefty wages
According to Capology, Pogba is one of Juve's top earners on €10.26m per year before tax. With three years left of the four-year deal he signed last summer, Juve would be saving €30.78m in wages alone should the Frenchman leave now.
Gazzetta dello Sport report that Pogba could earn up to €50m over the course of his contract if bonuses are included.

Pogba is valued at €21.5m by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm, meanwhile, and if Juve cashed in his transfer fee would represent pure profit, the Old Lady having brought him back to Juventus Stadium on a free.
Juventus ran into legal and financial trouble last season, with president Andrea Agnelli and vice-president Pavel Nedved resigning alongside the entire board of directors last November.
Pogba isn't the only player they might cash in on this summer, with Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa among the club's high earners who are attracting interest from the Premier League.
