Napoli receive OUTRAGEOUS €230m Saudi offer
Napoli could be raided by Saudi Arabia shortly before Serie A kicks off, according to Italian media.
With just ten days to go until the new Italian league season commences, two of Napoli's biggest stars are being courted by Saudi clubs. Having already rejected two offers from Al-Hilal for Victor Osimhen, while demanding €200 million for the striker, it appears that the reigning champions are now actually faced with the threat of losing the Nigerian.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via Footmercato), Al-Hilal have improved their offer for Osimhen to the desired €200m, but they didn't stop there. They added another €30m on top to also get midfielder Piotr Zielinski, claims the report.

Osimhen has been offered a salary of €45 to 50m per year, while the Polish midfielder would receive €15m. Al-Hilal aren't the only club vying for Zielinski's services, however.
Al-Ahli in the mix
On the contrary, it appears that the 29-year-old is actually closer to joining fellow Public Investment Fund-owned side Al-Ahli, who have already snapped up Edouard Mendy, Roberto Firmino, Riyad Mahrez and Allan Saint-Maximin.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Jeddah side have presented a formal offer to Zielinski, who is out of contract next year. The player has apparently already consented to a move.
Yet a fee has not been agreed between Al-Ahli and Napoli, reports the Italian. The Saudi giants are pushing to get it over the line, however.

The transfer specialist has also revealed that the Scudetto winners are currently working on two midfield signings, potentially with Zielinski's departure in mind. Jens Cajuste will almost certainly join from Stade Reims, while Napoli are also working on the transfer of sought-after Spaniard Gabri Veiga.
The Celta Vigo midfielder has been courted by the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City, but Napoli appear the most serious about signing him, having already submitted a €30m bid.
