Five players who could join AC Milan this summer
AC Milan are set for a big summer.
Veteran striker Olivier Giroud has departed for Major League Soccer and will need replacing. Signing a new, top-class number nine has been on the Rossoneri's agenda since 2023 and it is expected that they will splash the cash this time around despite their limited funds.
But it's not only at centre-forward where Paulo Fonseca's side want to strengthen after a disappointing season. Midfield reinforcements are also expected to be heading to the San Siro.
Here are five players AC Milan could sign this summer...

Tammy Abraham (Roma)
Milan initially thought they would land Joshua Zirkzee, but the demands of his agent meant that the Rossoneri pulled out of the deal and have instead been forced to look at different targets.
One of the most concrete names to have emerged in recent weeks is that of former Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham. The Roma striker is said to be keen on the move, with the capital club seemingly having already signed a replacement in Artem Dovbyk.

Manu Kone (Monchengladbach)
For the midfield, Borussia Monchengladbach star Manu Kone has emerged as a concrete target for Milan. The Frenchman is keen to leave the Bundesliga side this summer and the club won't stand in his way.
A former Liverpool and Arsenal target, Kone is one of the top candidates to head to the San Siro this summer, with Milan perhaps the club who have been most concretely linked with him.
Adrien Rabiot (Free agent)
Adrien Rabiot is officially a free agent. The France star remained locked in talks with Juventus over extending his contract for some time, but the club eventually confirmed that he had at last departed Turin.
Milan are among the names credited with an interest, but the likes of Arsenal, Man Utd and even Real Madrid are said to be keen as well.
Emerson Royal (Tottenham)
Tottenham are keen to offload full-back Emerson Royal as Ange Postecoglou aims to completely revamp his side this summer. This has turned the Brazilian into something of a market opportunity.
Though he has never really managed to impress, the 25-year-old former Barcelona man still has admirers and the Rossoneri are said to be among them. Alessandro Florenzi is expected to depart the San Siro this summer and Royal could be his replacement.
Youssouf Fofana (Monaco)
A deal expected to not take much longer is the one that would see France international Youssouf Fofana move to Milan. The Rossoneri and Monaco have been locked in talks for weeks and a transfer is expected to be done.
Fofana is keen on the move and Monaco are working to facilitate his exit as he only has a year left to run on his deal. However, they are not keen on simply flipping him for peanuts, so there has been a significant amount of haggling over his fee.
