Along with Tijani Reijnders, Milan technical director Geoffrey Moncada has indicated that the renewal deals for both players are nearing.

“We are very close,” he told DAZN.

“The important thing is to have control over the players, we cannot lose them when their contracts expire, ever. We work hard, and it seems to me that the players are very happy to stay with us.”

Mancada added that Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez, who has been linked with Manchester City this week, are also close to securing new deals.

“This also applies to them. It’s important,” he said.

Christian Pulisic new contract: Salary and length revealed

Pulisic is set to sign a new deal that will keep him tied to the San Siro side until 2029, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

His new four-year contract will see the midfielder’s wages rise to €5 million per year before bonuses – up from his current deal of €4m annually.

Previously, there had been speculation that Pulisic could leave Milan due to a falling out with head coach Sergio Conceicao. Liverpool and Manchester City were among the clubs linked with him, but the US star denied the rumours.

“I have never argued with the coach and I have never asked to leave. I am very happy at Milan and I want to continue wearing this shirt. Reading these lies is unacceptable, but let's all continue to remain united and fight together on the pitch, for the club and for our fans,” he said in a statement published on Milan’s official channels.

Pulisic was signed by Milan for €20.8m in the summer of 2023, and having returned 10 goals and seven assists across all competitions this season has proven excellent value for money, with his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) growing to €54.4m.
