Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag continues to be frustrated by the club’s stalling takeover process, which means that he still does not know what type of budget he will be working with in the summer.

The Red Devils, though, need to be strengthened in several areas of the field, with Ten Hag and his still working hard to identify those players who can carry them closer to Manchester City and Arsenal.

The Daily Mail reports that Tottenham are interested in Man Utd captain Harry Maguire.

The echoes FootballTransfers’ exclusive from Tuesday that both Maguire and the club are eager to end their relationship in the summer. Sources have revealed that as well as Spurs, Tottenham and Everton are interested.

Ten Hag to sell eight?

The Daily Mirror reports that Ten Hag is working to sell as many as eight first-team players this summer.

None of these players will come as much of a shock, with Maguire again cited along with striker Anthony Martial. Other names on the list include Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe, Fred, Scott McTominay, Dean Henderson, Alex Telles and Eric Bailly and Brandon Williams.

David de Gea has faced a fresh storm of criticism since the FA Cup final, but the Daily Express reports that the goalkeeper wants to sign a new contract and remain with the club.
