According to the Daily Mail, the papers have been filed in time and it looks like Vila will get this one over the line.

There are two major deals still to be announced:
Axel Disasi's loan from Chelsea to Aston Villa
Mathys Tel's loan from Bayern Munich to Tottenham.
While the Frenchman's move is considered something of a formality now, there are doubts as to whether Villa will get their move for the centre-back over the line.
