Potter gets to work: West Ham manager lines up Rashford as one of THREE new signings
New West Ham United manager Graham Potter has wasted no time getting to work at his new club, with three new signings, including Manchester United star Marcus Rashford, lined up immediately at the London Stadium.
The Hammers sacked Julen Lopetegui on Wednesday after only a handful of months in the job, with Potter appointed on Thursday. That the former Chelsea boss would take over was an open secret by the time the former Real Madrid and Spain coach was pushed out the door.
Potter appears to have rapidly assessed the changes that are required to get West Ham moving in the right direction after winning only six of their first 20 games of the season, conceding 39 times in the process.

One of the players that Potter, who previously managed Chelsea and Swansea in the Premier League, has targeted is Man Utd exile Rashford, who has made it clear he is open to a new challenge.
Although the winger’s brothers and agents have been in Italy talking with AC Milan, there are fears that the Serie A side will only be willing to pay half the player’s wages, which could block a move.
As such, the door is still very much open for West Ham to come in and complete a surprising move.

Potter looks to Chelsea for double swoop
West Ham also have their eyes on Chelsea pair Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Carney Chukwuemeka, according to Jacbos.
Both of the Blues stars have found game time hard to come by under Enzo Maresca at Stamford Bridge, and with the top-four hopefuls struggling under the weight of a large squad, they could be tempted to part with both this January.
