Clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are keen on signing Rashford, per reports, but a lot depends on how much United ask for their attacker.

CaughtIOffside report that PSG previously held talks with Rashford and that they are still looking for a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who left the Parc des Princes on a free transfer in the summer.

The five players who could replace Rashford

And now, in another development, five names have been linked with replacing the Manchester-born attacker.

CaughtOffside revealed that the "five players on the list at the moment are: Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres, Dusan Vlahovic, Evan Ferguson, and Kenan Yildiz."

Gyokeres has worked with Ruben Amorim at Sporting CP and is one of the most in-form strikers in the world today. Osimhen is still contracted to Napoli but is on loan in Turkey, playing for Galatasaray. Ferguson remains out of sorts at Brighton and is reportedly available for a loan. Yildiz is shining for Juventus and a deal for the attacker would be hard to do.

Rashford scored the first goal of the Amorim era against Ipswich Town last weekend, before bagging a brace during a 4-0 win over Sean Dyche’s Everton on Sunday afternoon.

However, Amorim has urged the former England international to continue his development rather than rest on his laurels.

“There is so much to improve,” Amorim admitted when asked about Rashford after Man Utd's win against Everton. “He can do so much better. We all have to improve, but it was a great job from the players.

“He has to continue to improve and he has the ability to do it. He already proved that, but he can play so much better, like the other guys. So it was a good performance. Tomorrow he has to recover and start thinking about the Arsenal game.”
