A potential Premier League move for Leny Yoro depends entirely on Real Madrid.

The Lille wonderkid is Europe's most sought-after centre-back. Out of contract next year and likened to a young Raphael Varane, the teenager is being chased by some of the world's biggest clubs.

After establishing himself as a regular starter at just 17 and being included in Ligue 1's Team of the Season at 18, the youngster is ready to move on, with Man Utd, Liverpool, PSG and Real Madrid all trying to secure his signature.

Thus far, however, little in the way of concrete offers has materialised. This is because Yoro has his heart set on joining Real Madrid, but the Champions League winners are yet to decide on their transfer strategy regarding the 18-year-old.

According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Yoro is viewed as a 'unique market opportunity' by Man Utd and Liverpool, but Fabrizio Romano insists that his future is fully in the hands of Real Madrid.

Real Madrid to play kingmaker

Speaking on his YouTube channel, the Italian transfer expert revealed that a Premier League move for Yoro can only materialise this summer if Real Madrid decide to not pursue a deal.

"Real Madrid remain the frontrunners for Leny Yoro, I always told you so because they have been working on this deal for months...so Real Madrid really like Leny Yoro, but it is also about what they want to do in terms of strategy, also from a financial point of view."

"So, go strong on Leny Yoro, put the money on the table and sign the player or decide to wait, also because he has one year left on his contract. In case Real Madrid will go strong for Leny Yoro, Yoro will be a Real Madrid because Yoro wants to go to Real Madrid and gives priority to Real Madrid."

"But if Real Madrid decide against going for this deal now and investing this money now after Kylian Mbappe and all the other stuff they are doing, the idea in that case is for other clubs to attack the situation. PSG are still there since January..."

"And then let me repeat...Liverpool are there. Liverpool are strongly interested in Yoro, Liverpool made clear their interest to the agents of the player and so Liverpool are really, really pushing for Leny Yoro in case Real Madrid will not proceed with the deal."
