Man Utd prepare first January sale as EIGHT clubs keen
Manchester United are ready to sanction the January sale of Victor Lindelof, according to a report.
The Swede is almost a forgotten man at Old Trafford and with his contract expiring at the end of the season, he is surely on his way out. Lindelof has made just eight appearances so far this season, playing 294 minutes.
The 30-year-old has primarily spent time on the bench and the treatment table this term, though he made his return from a recent setback in the triumphant Manchester Derby on Sunday.

Lindelof came on in the final minutes to shore up Man Utd's backline and see out the Red Devils' 2-1 comeback victory over Pep Guardiola's struggling Premier League champions.
It was the defender's first appearance under his former Benfica teammate Ruben Amorim, but their reunion is unlikely to last long.
Lindelof open to January exit
According to CaughtOffside, Man Utd are open to cashing in on the centre-back in January in what will be their final chance to generate any kind of fee for their €35 million signing.
Lindelof himself is also willing to move on in the winter and he has no shortage of suitors, with eight clubs specifically mentioned in the report. His admirers include Premier League sides Newcastle, West Ham and Everton as well as a host of high-profile Serie A clubs.

Man Utd are trying to use the January window to raise funds for potential reinforcements, with the club reportedly operating on the limits of financial regulations, so sales are required before signings can be made.
The report claims that Lindelof could fetch Man Utd as much as €8m in January, though he could also just as well wait until the summer and leave the club after eight years on a Bosman.
