Talks are reportedly ongoing as Man Utd look to bolster their backline with a double acquisition from the Allianz Arena.
Despite the recent signing of Leny Yoro, Man Utd remain interested in signing De Ligt, while Mazraoui is seen as the perfect replacement for West Ham-bound Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Both players have been deemed surplus to requirements at Bayern, and they have both agreed personal terms with Man Utd.

Fulham 'convinced' on McTominay transfer
Fulham are "convinced" that Man Utd will sell Scott McTominay before the end of the summer transfer window, according to GiveMeSport.
The Cottagers have made three offers for the Scotland international star, the latest of which is reportedly worth £23m.
Man Utd want a deal between £25-30m.
Amrabat 'confident' of Man Utd return
Despite a difficult campaign at Manchester United last season, Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat is "confident" that the Red Devils will return for him this summer, Corriere dello Sport claims.
TeamTalk claims Fenerbahce are eager to sign the Morocco star.
Gabriel Mec monitored
Man Utd are reportedly keeping tabs on Gremio wonderkid Gabriel Mec, who has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea.
Mec, 16, is considered to be one of the brightest talents in Brazilian football and Chelsea are pushing to sign him as they continue to scout the best youngsters in the world.
Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade has now reported that Chelsea are offering an initial fee of €7 million, plus an additional €7m in potential add-ons. However, Gremio are holding out for a fixed offer of at least €10m.
As a result, the move has not yet advanced, which could play into the hands of Man Utd and Borussia Dortmund.
According to Andrade, both clubs are keeping tabs on Mec as they eye a potential transfer hijack.
Erik ten Hag’s transfer statement
Erik ten Hag has insisted that recent injury problems will not force Man Utd to make unnecessary signings.
Leny Yoro, Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford have all suffered injuries in pre-season, and the Red Devils have been linked with numerous replacement options as a result.
However, when asked whether injuries could change Man Utd’s transfer plans, Ten Hag told The Guardian: “No. This will not change anything. We have a plan and we stick to the plan - and we will execute the plan, how we have that in our minds.”
Federico Chiesa talks
Man Utd are in contact with Federico Chiesa's agent, Fali Ramadani, according to Italian outlet La Stampa (via Tutto Juve).
The Italy international, 26, has just one year left on his current contract at Juventus and he has been heavily linked with a summer transfer.
Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal are also reportedly in negotiations with Ramadani as they eye a possible move for the Juventus winger.
Adrien Rabiot competition
Arsenal are currently in ‘pole position’ to sign Man Utd target Adrien Rabiot, according to reports in Italy.
The France international is now a free agent after leaving the Old Lady upon the expiration of his contract at the end of June, and multiple top European clubs are interested in signing him.
Man Utd have been linked with a move for Rabiot for several seasons, but the Red Devils are trailing Arsenal in the race to sign him this summer, as per Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Italian outlet claims that Mikel Arteta’s side are one of three frontrunners in the race to sign Rabiot, along with LaLiga pair Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
Mason Greenwood slammed
Lazio director Mariano Fabiani has blasted Mason Greenwood after his transfer from Man Utd to Olympique Marseille.
He told the Serie A club’s media channels: “We wanted Greenwood last year, then there was a hitch with the player. You all know what Greenwood’s problem was."
"An agent this year approached us with the idea of Greenwood in Italy, we gave him a deadline, from there an auction was unleashed and I thought I could go up to a certain limit.
“We offered €22 million for 50% of the player, we’re talking about €26m. He preferred to take another path and I say that the best deals are those that aren’t made.
“I want [Nicolo] Rovella, [Mattia] Zaccagni, players who love the environment where they work. I don’t want these mercenaries, it’s lucky not to make certain deals.
"I could sell myself for €50,000 more but I have values that my parents passed on to me. If he’s taken another path, we wish Greenwood the best of luck.”
