EXCLUSIVE: Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town in for Angers defender
Yan Valery could make a return to England with Championship sides such as Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town looking at the right-back.
With his impressive performances and potential for growth, the defender has become the subject of intense interest - and we are told that The Bluebirds are among his options.
The 24-year-old began his journey at the youth academy of Stade Rennais, where he shone and earned a move to Southampton at 16 years old.

After a promising start, Valery eventually joined Birmingham City on loan in 2021, before being sold to Angers in Ligue 1.
He’s been with Les Noirs et Blancs for a year and now is being looked at for a possible move back to England, where his career really took off.
It comes after Cardiff City announced the appointment of Erol Bulut as their manager.
The former Fenerbahce boss has replaced Sabri Lamouchi at the Championship club, marking his first club away from Turkey.

"I wanted to have a new challenge to be in the Championship to show what I can do in this league, like I have already shown in the Turkish league over the last six years," Bulut said.
"What the club want and I want are the same. They feel I am the right man and I want this challenge, I want to make a difference."
Bulut has agreed an initial one-year deal to become Cardiff's fifth manager in the space of two years. He has the option to extend if certain targets are met.
