Everton and Spurs contemplating Arkadiusz Milik bids
Premier League duo Everton and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly contemplating January bids for Napoli outcast Arkadiusz Milik, according to reports in Italy.
Milik is firmly on the outs at the Stadio San Paolo following a move to Roma breaking down last summer due to bitter disputes with patron Aurelio De Laurentiis over unpaid fines.
Since the collapse of that deal, the Pole has been sidelined indefinitely, and likely won’t play for Napoli again.
Outlet AreaNapoli states that Milik’s valuation has dropped to around the £14m mark, whilst CalcioNapoli24 believes that the club want Milik to sign a new deal in order to boost his value once more.
English website TheBootRoom states that Premier League pair Everton and Spurs are interested in the Poland striker. Jose Mourinho had been linked with a move for Milik last summer, whilst Carlo Ancelotti coached the player whilst in charge of the Partenopei in 2018-19.
It’s also believed that Fiorentina are interested in signing Milik, who joined the southern Italian club from Ajax in 2016.
