Yunus Musah signs contract extension to keep him at Valencia till 2026
Yunus Musah has committed his future to Valencia by agreeing a contract extension that will keep the young player at the La Liga club until 2026.
The 18-year-old winger has been nothing short of revelation in the Spanish top flight this season, starting nine of his club’s first 11 league games.
Such an impressive run undoubtedly attracts interest from bigger clubs, with Arsenal reportedly interested in bringing the wide player back to the Premier League after he left their youth academy in 2019.
Yet that task now looks much harder now that Musah has committed his future to Valencia for a further six years.

“I’m very happy to have signed for Valencia CF, and to have renewed my contract,” said the young player on the club’s website.
“I can’t wait for what the future holds. It’s a dream come true for myself and for my family. Something that I’ve dreamed of ever since I was young was to have a first team contract with a big club. For that to happen at Valencia is even bigger.
“I’m enjoying my football a lot here. I’m learning every day. My teammates, the staff and everyone else here have really helped me, and I’m enjoying myself here.
It’s obviously a great thing to be playing so many matches at my age. I just want to thank everybody that has made this possible.”
“Valencia have shown trust in me and I want to carry on at this club which has helped me to start my career. I can’t wait for the fans to be back at the stadium, as I haven’t experienced that before.
“I’ve been to Mestalla to watch a lot of matches as a spectator, but it’s going to be a different experience playing there on the pitch.”
