'It's been very bad for a long time' - De Gea lays into 'embarrassing' Man Utd under Solskjaer
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has admitted that things at the club have been "very bad for a long time" amidst calls for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to lose his job.
Man Utd lost 4-1 to Watford on an abysmal afternoon that saw captain Harry Maguire sent off at Vicarage Road.
Solskjaer appeared to offer his apologies to the away support at full-time and his tenure as United manager is now in serious jeopardy.

And goalkeeper De Gea appeared to have a dig at his manager, admitting it had been this way for a while.
'It's been very bad for a long time'
Speaking to BBC Sport immediately after the match, De Gea said: "It's been very bad for a long time.
"A club like Man United, we have to be fighting for trophies and fighting for big things and to be honest we are far from that.
"Let's see - we have to keep working hard and stick together. We always say the same things but it's the truth - we have to look at ourselves and see where we can improve."
The loss at Watford means United have now conceded 21 goals this season, more than 16 of the other 20 Premier League teams.

Everton have shipped the same amount of goals and only bottom clubs Norwich City and Newcastle United have let in more.
And De Gea said sorry to the fans for another inept defensive display.
"Embarrassing first half - we could've conceded four goals in 45 minutes. It was hard to watch the team playing today - it was nightmare after nightmare. It's not acceptable," said the Spaniard.
"We are trying to give our best and fight for the team but for sure something is very wrong. You can see in the games - it's very low level, very poor. Sorry to the fans, once again."
United go to Villareal next in another vital game to their season and the question is - will Solskjaer still be in charge in Spain?
