Why Dani Olmo is much likelier to end up at Man Utd than Barca
Barcelona's new head coach Xavi continues to scour the transfer market looking for players to help rebuild the club to former glories.
And a player they continue to monitor is RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo.
The player left Barcelona as a kid in 2014 and has reportedly always dreamed of a return to the Camp Nou, with his family still living in the city.

But reports coming out of Germany suggest Olmo's representatives have been put off due to Barcelona's interest in Manchester City's Raheem Sterling.
At first, considered to be transfer market conjecture, Olmo's team are increasingly worried that Barcelona have not distanced themselves from the speculation.
Man United looking at midfield additions
That has alerted Manchester United to the situation as the transfer merry-go-round ramps up ahead of the January market opening up.
Jadon Sancho has failed to live up to the hype the followed his summer move to United from Borussia Dortmund.
And Donny van de Beek's dismal United spell doesn't look like getting any better with the player not fancied by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
That all means Man Utd are in the market for an attacking midfielder and Olmo has emerged as the man they feel can take the position.
Olmo has missed much of this season with a torn muscle but played a starring role last term, scoring seven and assisting 12 times as Leipzig finished second in the Bundesliga behind Bayern Munich.
Olmo to Man United in January?
The chances of a move to Barcelona in January remain slim as the Blaugrana have virtually no funds to spend. Even in the summer, it is likely to remain an issue.
That is not a problem facing United and, with the side struggling this season, a squad refresh shouldn't be ruled out. If the Premier League side choose to show patience, they still have more financial muscle than Barca.
Dani Olmo's return to Barcelona, then, is looking increasingly distant with Man Utd a potential suitor.
