The Bianconeri are having a disastrous season in Serie A and currently find themselves down in seventh position, six points adrift of the top four.

Juventus plan to sign a striker and central midfielder in January in a desperate bid to try and ensure they qualify for the Champions League.

But Juve are in financial turmoil, recently requiring a €400 million capital injection from their parent company Exor.

This, in order to buy, Juventus must first sell in January.

The Bianconeri are willing to listen to offers for every single one of their central midfielders, with the exception of Manuel Locatelli.

What Juventus players do Arsenal want?

Two of these midfielders Arsenal are interested in – although they are only prepared to sign one or the other.

The first is Brazil midfielder Arthur, who has struggled to settle and to maintain his fitness since arriving from Barcelona in the summer of 2020. Coach Max Allegri believes he doesn’t fit into his style of play, but Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta believes the Brazilian’s short passing game fits his philosophy perfectly.

The alternative is a former Gunners favourite in Aaron Ramsey. The Welshman has been plagued with injuries in Turin and Juventus are desperate to get his €7m-a-year wages off their accounts. Newcastle and Everton are also interested.

The third Juventus player that Arsenal are not only interested in but already in negotiations for is Dejan Kulusevski.

The Sweden winger was regarded as one of the most promising young players in Europe when Juve signed him from Atalanta for €40m in the summer of last year.

However, he has failed to live up to his potential and has not even scored a Serie A goal this season.

Allegri is understood to not be a fan and Juve would accept bids upwards of €30m in order to not make a capital loss.

It’s possible Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be involved in negotiations as Juventus need to sign a clinical striker and the Gabon international is available following is recent disciplinary problems.
