Ferran Torres arrives in Barcelona to undergo medical
Ferran Torres has arrived in Barcelona in order to undergo his medical and complete his big-money transfer from Manchester City, according to Sport.
The Spanish attacker travelled to Catalunya on Boxing Day and has a medical booked on Monday morning.
Should he complete this medical without any problems, an official announcement could arrive within the next 24 hours.
Barcelona and Man City are understood to have agreed a transfer fee of €55 million plus €10m in add-ons.
Torres will sign a five-year contract with Blaugrana.
Man City manager Pep Guardiola admitted before their 6-3 win over Leicester City on Boxing Day that he had agreed to sell Torres and explained his reasons why.

“I cannot push the players or convince the player if his mind is elsewhere. [It makes] no sense,” Pep said.
“Other clubs say it doesn't matter, I'm not agreeing. Every club has to decide how to deal with that, [this is] my personal opinion [to let them leave].”
Torres joined Man City from Valencia for €22m in the summer of 2020 and has scored a respectable 16 goals for the club, despite often being deployed in an unnatural role as a false 9.
But according to Mundo Deportivo, Torres demanded the move to Barca as he wishes to be a key player – which he has been promised by new Blaugrana coach Xavi.
At Man City, Torres does not believe he will ever be considered one of the team's biggest stars due to the presence of the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Raheem Sterling.
