Inter open to Telles & Bellerin moves
Inter are open to the possibility of signing Manchester United defender Alex Telles or Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin.
CEO Giuseppe Marotta was quizzed about the prospect of signing one of the Premier League full-backs after recent media speculation.
Serie A champions Inter have sold Achraf Hakimi to Paris Saint-Germain this summer in a big-money move.
Marotta says that means they do not need to make any more high-profile sales.
He also refused to rule out the prospect of moves for Telles, who has previously played for Inter in a loan spell, and in-demand Bellerin.
"Hector Bellerin is a player that we are following, but I can’t say anymore," he told Sky Sport Italia.
"Alex Telles? I can’t exclude this possibility but we’re making our plans and we’ll see.
"We’re now planning to keep our best players after selling Hakimi.
"At the moment we are focusing on evaluating all the opportunities without the haste of having to close this or that operation."
Bellerin, who is valued at £22.7 million in FootballTransfers' player evaluation system, has been consistently linked with an Arsenal exit.
Telles hopes for United stay
Telles, meanwhile, has this weekend discussed his desire to stay at Man Utd.
The 28-year-old is a useful and versatile understudy to starting full-backs Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw but has also been linked with Roma, with a move away seen as more likely if reports linking United to Atletico Madrid full-back Kieran Trippier lead to anything.
Telles said to the club’s website: "It’s a pleasure to be at Manchester United coming into my second season.
"Last season, we came really close to winning trophies, so we go into this next season with a lot of desire and I really want to show my work and my value here at the club."
He is hoping to make his mark in Sunday’s friendly match against Derby County, who are managed by former United stalwart Wayne Rooney.
"I’m really looking forward to the game, I’m going into the game with a lot of desire," added Telles.
"I think it’s a really great opportunity for us players who have been here for the last two weeks.
"It’s going to be a tough test but we’re really well prepared for it. We’ve been working really hard in training today, and this last week.
"I believe it’s an opportunity to show my value my quality and my potential here at Manchester United.
"I know Manchester United Football Club and the fans really believe in me."
