Cristiano Ronaldo’s incredible move back to Manchester United from Juventus is set to be one of the stories of the season.

Mere hours before the deal was made official, it was thought that Ronaldo was heading to Manchester City.

Instead, a dramatic U-turn took place and he signed a two-year deal with Manchester United that will make him the best-paid player in the history of the Premier League.

It is a deal that has been greeted with elation from those around the red half of Manchester, including players, such as Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Jesse Lingard and captain Harry Maguire, who have all tweeted their delight that a deal has been done.

This is a feeling that has been echoed by Man Utd fans.

Equally, though, Man Utd supporters were delighted to pinch Ronaldo away from City.
