Gary Neville hits back at refusal to criticise Man Utd boss Solskjaer

Premier League pundit Gary Neville has responded to comments regarding beleaguered Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, following his appearance on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football.
Neville was performing in his regular analysis segment and discussed the fate of Solskjaer in the wake of yet another disappointing performance, this time in the 4-2 defeat at Leicester.

Neville's opposite, Jamie Carragher, stressed his belief that Solskjaer had done 'a good job' at United but added that he felt the Norwegian is 'not at the level' of the other managers, namely Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola and Thomas Tuchel.
But in addressing directly the predicament of Solskjaer, Neville said he would not criticise his former team-mate directly, but did concede that 'the pressure is growing'.

He said: "The club are not going to change him. It's not the right time to discuss it right now.
"I've got Manchester United fans on my social media saying 'you won't call him out. You're right. I won't.
"I'm not going to come on this show and ask for a manager to get sacked. He's a club legend, he's my team-mate, I actually like him a lot. And Manchester United have failed with two previous managers who have been world class.

"You're up against three of the best teams in the world in Chelsea, City and Liverpool, with three of the best managers.
"But the pressure is building. It should do. What a collection of players - they've now got to start to perform, and he's got to get them to perform."
United are on a run of just two wins in seven matches and face rivals Liverpool next Sunday at Old Trafford in what could be a crunch clash for Solskjaer and his players.
