Folarin Balogun deserves his Arsenal shot
Arsenal's resurgence from the bottom of the league with no goals after three games to fighting for a Champions League spot after 11 is one of the stories of the first half of the season.
Unbeaten in 10 matches and winning eight of those, including the EFL Cup, Mikel Arteta has eased the pressure he faced in early September.
But looking closer at the Gunners league scoring figures, you get a clearer picture of why some fans are still not happy.

Both players are constantly linked with moves away from the club and it begs the question of where the goals come from if they do.
But is it now time for Arteta to start looking at young English talent Folarin Balogun?

The striker has been in great form in Arsenal's youth ranks and his intelligent style of play has been likened to Arsenal legend Ian Wright by former Gunners defender Martin Keown.
And the academy star further enhanced his argument for first-team football by scoring from the edge of the box in his first start for England Under-21s in their recent win against the Czech Republic.

- But he continues to be frustrated by his lack of chances at the Emirates.
Speaking after the win for the young lions, he told Football London: "I have played youth football for a little while, I have obviously scored a lot of goals at that level and improved at that level drastically from when I started.
"I do feel like I am ready for a new challenge but I am not sure what that might be, it might be a loan or if I am needed at Arsenal then I am here and the gaffer knows that.
"I am definitely open to a new challenge but it is something that whatever that challenge is I will be ready.
"I know the potential I could have and that I need to achieve is massive. I haven't achieved it yet."
There are likely to be a few incomings and outgoings in January at Arsenal but they could be losing a special talent in Balogun if they don't find a place for him in the senior team - and soon.
