Haidara makes Man Utd and Ronaldo confession
Manchester United transfer target Amadou Haidara has confessed that the Red Devils were his favourite club growing up, while he has also revealed his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo and Ralf Rangnick.
It has been widely reported that the RB Leipzig midfielder is Rangnick’s first target when the January window opens next month.

And it seems as if it is a transfer that the 23-year-old would jump at.
What did Haidara say about Man Utd?
"Everyone had a favourite team as a kid. Mine was Manchester United," he told Bild .
"I was a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, I liked Paul Scholes, Patrice Evra, Edwin van der Sar, Anderson.
"But if you want to talk to me about rumours: I’m at Leipzig and I feel good."

Haidara also admitted that he owes new Man Utd interim manager Rangnick a huge debt of gratitude for the development of his career.
Indeed, it was Rangnick who signed Haidara for Leipzig in 2019 from Salzburg.
What did Haidara say about Rangnick?
“Yes, Ralf plays a very big role in my career. Don’t forget, when Leipzig wanted to get me, I tore my cruciate ligament,” he revealed.
"But Ralf said that I should come anyway. I wouldn’t have expected that back then.
"I’m very grateful to him because he really wanted me and gave me great confidence as a coach in Leipzig.
"He later told me to stay with RB and trust that Julian Nagelsmann would make me better."
Haidara has made 17 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals.
He has appeared 24 times for the Mali national side, scoring twice.
