Amad Diallo DESTROYED on Twitter after horror display
Amad Diallo endured a miserable debut in the Old Firm derby on Wednesday as he was hooked after just 45 minutes.
The on-loan Man Utd youngster started the big top-of-the-table clash for Rangers against bitter rivals Celtic at Celtic Park.
But he lasted only 45 minutes before he was taken off by manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst, with his side trailing 3-0 at the interval.
Goals from Reo Hatate (2) and Liel Abada allowed Celtic to race into a three-goal lead by the break.
Starting on the right wing of a 4-3-3, Amad failed to have a single shot in the first half. He attempted two dribbles and lost the ball immediately both times.
His passing was little better. He lost possession on 12 occasions, made no key passes, no crosses and failed with his only long ball. He made just eight accurate passes.
Amad also won just one of his six ground duels and challenged for no aerial duels.
This dismal performance was not lost on fans on Twitter, who laid into the January loan signing from Man Utd.

Amad Diallo has come from the intensity of training with Man Utd every day to this...no wonder he is struggling.

Amad signed for Rangers on loan until the end of the season in the closing days of the January transfer window.
The Ivorian was eager to gain some first-team football after a miserable first year at Old Trafford.
There had rarely been as much excitement about a new signing at Manchester United than when they bought Amad from Atalanta 13 months ago.
The Ivory Coast winger joined on January 7, 2021 in a massive deal worth an eventual €40 million.
However, he barely played in his first 12 months at United.
In 2021-22, he played just once for United – a 1-1 dead-rubber against Young Boys when Man Utd were already qualified as Champions League group winners.
A loan move to Feyenoord collapsed at the end of the summer transfer window after the player picked up an injury in training.
He eventually got a loan move to Rangers and he scored on his debut against Ross County last week, although the team only drew 3-3.
Amad was also mocked then as, despite the draw, he took to Twitter after the match to post a compilation of his best moments.
One would think he won’t be doing that after his dismal display against Celtic!
