Cristiano Ronaldo’s attitude at Manchester United has been questioned by one of the club’s greats.

The Portuguese finds himself in the midst of his worst scoring drought in 13 years, having failed to find the net in any of his previous six matches.

Meanwhile, he finds his future constantly speculated upon, particularly after interim boss Ralf Rangnick said that it is “obvious” that he needs to start finding the net more.

Ronaldo has not always carried himself well during this period and that has led Paul Ince to question the narrative that the forward is a positive influence on those around him when he is not playing to his peak capacity.

’All about Ronaldo’

Speaking to Genting Casino, former England international midfielder Ince stated: “This is not the Ronaldo of 19 years ago when he was first at Old Trafford - this is a 37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo.

“When people say he'll be great for the club and the youngsters, you'd have thought that would be the case. But he's walking off down the tunnel and throwing his toys out of the pram.

“For me, that's a bad example. This is someone at the end of his career and if he can't start against Burnley who are bottom of the table there's something seriously wrong. It should be about the team, but it's now become all about Ronaldo.”

Indeed, Ronaldo’s relationship with Rangnick is now suggested to be “totally fractured” by reports in Spain, with the Portuguese unhappy that he has not started every match and that the interim boss has publicly called into question his goal-scoring record.

So far this season, Ronaldo has scored 14 goals and provided three assists, but the last time he found the net was on 30 December against Burney. Indeed, the Man Utd ace only has five Premier League goals in his last 18 matches.
