Anthony Martial faces an uncertain future after it was confirmed this week that Sevilla will not purchase him from Manchester United this summer.

After finding first-team opportunities hard to come by at Old Trafford under caretaker manager Ralf Rangnick, Martial campaigned for a move in the January transfer window.

Eventually, he moved to Sevilla on loan for six months.

But, as FootballTransfers revealed, the Spanish side have no intention of making the loan deal permanent.

With guaranteed minutes at Man Utd, and with Sevilla not an option either, Martial will likely be on the move again this summer.

So, where could the Frenchman end up?

Tottenham

Tottenham bolstered their squad in January with the acquisitions of Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus.

Kulusevski is forming a good front three alongside Harry Kane and Heung-min Son, but the fact remains that Spurs are still short in attack, especially when someone needs to step in for Kane.

Martial would obviously need to be promised game time, but Spurs may look at him either as a rotation option or even a replacement for Kane should the England international be sold.

Everton

The Frank Lampard revolution at Everton is underway and in January he was given Donny van de Beek and Dele Alli to inject some creativity.

But, the Toffees are still majorly lacking in firepower up top, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin always out injured and Richarlison not a consistent goalscorer.

Martial would need to accept the step down to a club not playing in Europe, but he may need to do that to reignite his career.

Newcastle

Newcastle will likely be linked with dozens and dozens of player this summer due to their spending power, and Martial will certainly be a name mentioned.

Indeed, he was linked with Newcastle in January but reportedly didn't want to get involved in a relegation battle.

Should Newcastle survive, they will be able to start with a clean slate which will allow them to attract big name players.

Chris Wood is fine for now, but they will be keen for an upgrade this summer.

Juventus

Juventus completed one of the most expensive signings in their history in January, bringing in prolific striker Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina for €75 million.

However, they are unlikely to make the current loan deal for Alvaro Morata permanent, which means they will need a partner for Vlahovic if they continue with their 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 system.

Like with Newcastle, Martial was linked with Juventus in January before they signed Vlahovic.

Arsenal

If there is one club in Europe who will be signing attacking reinforcements this summer it will be Arsenal.

The club are currently facing an exodus of centre-forwards as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has left for Barcelona, while Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah have contracts which expire in June.

They will then only have young striker Folarin Balogun, currently on loan at Middlesbrough, in the side.

Arsenal will probably target at least two new strikers, and Martial would represent a very attractive option.
