Should Chelsea keep or sell Broja this summer?
West Ham are just the latest club to be linked with a move for Chelsea talent Armando Broja ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to Sport, the Premier League side are now willing to part with no less than £25 million to sign the young striker, who is currently spending this season on loan at Southampton.
The young Albania international has looked like a smart prospect for the Saints this season, bagging nine goals and an assist in 27 appearances for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side.
As such, Chelsea are gearing up for a number of bids for the 20-year-old goalscorer. But should Thomas Tuchel’s side keep Broja for next season or sell him on?

Why Chelsea should sell Broja
There’s no doubt that the Stamford Bridge side are one of the best in the business at developing young players, but when it comes to such talents making the step up to the first team it rarely works out.
If West Ham are serious about their interest in the young striker, then Chelsea should consider an offer of around £25m with one notable clause included - the ability for the Stamford Bridge club to buy him back at a later date.
As Chelsea have done with Tammy Abraham, allowing other clubs to develop their young players and then potentially bringing them back when they’re done developing makes far more sense than allowing a talent like Broja to spend next season on the bench.

Why Chelsea should keep Broja
While there are a number of clever ways for Chelsea to move Broja on to develop at other clubs, the fact remains that Tuchel’s side are crying out for a goalscorer.
After spending the best part of £200m on Romelu Lukaku, Kai Havertz and Timo Werner, the Chelsea manager has only managed to get a grand total of 25 goals out of the trio.
In normal circumstances, Chelsea could simply sell their misfiring stars and buy another top-class striker but the club’s current predicament with the owner could mean that they’re cash strapped in this summer’s transfer window.
As such, Chelsea would do well to ignore any offers for Broja this summer and welcome him back into the squad as another option in attack for a season in which the club may not have too many new signings to boast about.
