Dybala ready to ignore Arsenal & Spurs transfer interest for Serie A stay
Juventus star Paulo Dybala is ready to snub transfer interest from Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle as he prefers to remain in Italy, FootballTransfers is told, and a deal with Inter looks the most likely.
With his contract at Juventus coming to an end in the summer, plenty of clubs have been linked with the attacker - but he hopes to stay in Serie A.
AC Milan are not thought to be in for the 28-year-old, despite reports suggesting otherwise.
The Nerazzurri will offer the 28-year-old Dybala a four-year deal set at around €7-8 million per year before bonuses. Cash-strapped Inter- who need to net €50m in the summer transfer window - are looking to offload star forward Lautaro and snatch the Serie A-proven player on a free transfer.
Why Dybala is leaving Juventus
Dybala had initially seemed primed to remain at Juventus and had agreed terms with the Turin club, only for them to retract the contract offer as they targeted Dusan Vlahovic’s arrival in the January transfer window.
The Argentine is now speeding towards free agency in the summer, having played close to 300 games for Juventus since joining them from Palmero in 2015.
Dybala was a centrepiece to the side that dominated Italian football for much of the last decade, yet a new era is dawning at Juve following their disappointing fourth place in 2020/21.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side presently sit fourth in Serie A and look as likely to face a fight for the final Champions League spot as they do to challenge Milan, Inter and Napoli for the Scudetto.
