The Frenchman's contract will expire at the end of the season and it will mark the end of a six-year second spell at the club.

He had a period at Juventus sandwiched in between his time at Old Trafford, but he's set to leave Man Utd for good during this upcoming transfer window.

The 2018 World Cup winner has reportedly agreed a move to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain, and will join a host of stars at the Parc des Princes.

Fichajes reported that Rangnick has told Pogba he isn't in the club's plans next season and the German's comments ahead of Man Utd's game with Arsenal confirm this.

What has Rangnick said?

Pogba suffered an injury in the early stages of the Red Devils' heavy away loss to Liverpool in midweek and Rangnick revealed the severity of the injury. "The doctor told me it will take four weeks minimum for him to recover and the last game is the end of May," he said. "I don’t think that it is very likely that he will be able to play again."

With Pogba leaving this summer, he won't step onto the pitch in a Man Utd shirt ever again unless he makes a miraculous return from injury before the campaign ends.

He was replaced by Jesse Lingard in the defeat to Liverpool who is another player set to leave the club this season. Rangnick has revealed there will be a summer rebuild at the club with new head coach Erik ten Hag taking the reigns on transfer activity and transforming the team back into a side capable of competing for trophies.

Pogba was the subject of boos in the win over Norwich last weekend, which will have be his last appearance at Old Trafford in a red shirt of Man Utd.

His senior debut for the club came against Leeds in the League Cup back in 2011, while his second debut was in a win over Southampton in 2016. Pogba's last game for the club will be the 4-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield.
