Haaland to Man City and Adeyemi to Dortmund confirmed - FootballTransfers Recap
It was a very busy day of transfer activity across Europe as two huge deals were officially confirmed, while another couple will be announced soon.
Haaland to Man City
Erling Haaland's long-anticipated move to Manchester City has been officially confirmed, with the Manchester club releasing a statement to say a deal had been agreed in principle.
Haaland will become a Man City player on 1 July.
Adeyemi to Dortmund
Just minutes after Haaland's move to Man City was confirmed, Borussia Dortmund responded by unveiling Karim Adeyemi as their third signing of the summer.
He joins from RB Salzburg and accompanies Niklas Sule and Nico Schlotterbeck in new transfers walking into the door.
Rudiger to Real Madrid
Although an official announcement hasn't been made, several reports have confirmed Antonio Rudiger's transfer to Real Madrid following the expiration of his Chelsea contract.
The move will be confirmed following Real Madrid's participation in the Champions League final at the end of the league season.
Coutinho to Aston Villa
Multiple sources in Spain have reported that Philippe Coutinho is very close to joining Aston Villa on a permanent move following his loan deal.
The fee paid to Barcelona will reportedly be around €20m - a huge loss on what they paid Liverpool for the Brazilian back in 2018.
Mbappe's signing-on bonus
El Pias have reported that Kylian Mbappe will receive a world-record signing-on fee if he joins Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
The Frenchman's future is still unknown, although there is clearly great financial reward for joining the Spanish giants.
